InForm Sport Media will produce the show which is scheduled for a number of transmissions with the first provisional scheduled broadcast set to dovetail with Eneco Tour cycling coverage on Eurosport One at 12pm on 25th September.

An Post Rás na mBan race director Valerie Considine said: “This year’s An Post Rás na mBan is set to be the best ever. There is immense quality throughout the entry list and a fabulous new selection of challenging and picturesque stage routes.

“I’m very pleased that we are able to renew our involvement with Eurosport again this year.

“This is one of the few women’s bike races being given a proper outlet on television and I’m proud that we’re able to showcase the very best of Irish women’s bike racing, and the beautiful surroundings for the event, to such a wide audience.

“Thanks to generous support from An Post, Kilkenny County Council and the National Dairy Council we are looking forward to again bringing the event to wider audience with this broadcast.”
